Copy Master and Detail Help- conditional reference field

I am trying to create a "Copy Master and Detail Record" Button. When I go to create the button, one of the tables I need to include is not an option, despite the relationship being set up properly. 


Upon some testing I realized it is because the reference field in the child table has a conditional value option set up. 
I need this conditional relationship for user to be able to edit reports in grid edit easier... 


I tried setting up a second relationship but that does not work with my formulas.... 


Is there a simple solution to this that I am missing?
