Customize Emails in Branding

I have a PNG that is stored as a document.  I've updated the Branding Customize app Head with Basic Left Element being the https:// URL for the PNG.

The app header displays the PNG as desired :)

I have also, under Branding, checked Customize emails and added the same URL to the Upper Left Element hoping the logo would appear at the top left of HTML notification emails sent to external addresses.  It doesn't :(

Any suggested magic to make that happen?

  • Is the file available to everyone on the internet.   If not, edit the file attachment properties and check the box to allow access without logging in.

I went to the Image field and make sure to check the box that you could see the image without being logged in.

The email I get (which shows 'external') still doesn't display the image at the top of the email.  Using Outlook for the email reader.

No error (ie, no HTMP tag error or URL error), just not the image.

I tried it and it worked for me,  but my file was in an app that was Open to Everyone on The Internet.
