Dashboard Date Filter Not Applying to Certain Report Types

Question

When applying a date range filter to a dashboard, the filter doesn't work on a line & bar graph. I have several other reports on the dashboard: a few table reports, a bar graph, a pie chart, & a 2 series line graph, all of which are working fine. But specifically the line & bar graph doesn't get updated when the date range filter changes. Is this a known bug or is there something I'm doing wrong?

Was this dashboard report added after the filter was set up?
