Different ideas for sorting by month in a summary report
When users are looking at reports, I think it looks nice and clean to list months in the following way:
December 2020
January 2021
February 2021
I have a formula field which displays in this format, and in table reports I can display this field, but then sort by a date field so my order looks like above.
However, Summary Reports you need to sort on your summary field. All I can think of is to make the name something like:
2020 (12)December
2021 (1)January
2021 (2)February
To sort in the correct order. I don't think that looks very good. Anyone else run into this and come up with a nicer solution?
