Filter parent record selector on a grid edit within a form

I feel like something has changed as I did the above and I still cant change the filter on the parent record.

Can you please verify it is still the same.

    I have it figured for an embedded form but is it different for a straight grid edit ?

      @Trevor Kent  Did you create the dummy form as outlined above​

        I did and it puts the columns in the same order as on the form but it wont filter the records that I can select based on the report I am calling under that item in the dummy form.

        I swear it used to.
