Form Preview Acts Different than Live Form

Hello,
I have a form that has multiple lookup fields from other apps, all of which work fine when using the form preview. When I save the form and try to use it, most of the lookup fields no longer work. Where should I start looking for the problem? Attached are screenshots showing the difference in the form preview and the actual form.

Here's a breakdown of what I'm doing:
- We work under multiple contracts, each of these has it's own app.
- I created an invoicing app with relationships to each of the contract specific apps, with the invoicing table being the child in each because each job under the contract app can have multiple invoices.
- The invoicing app needs to lookup a reference number from the contract app and store it in "Job" field. I might be complicating matters here, but I'm using a single job field to simplify the reports. I can display this one field, rather than each of the 9 lookup fields.
