Form rules trigger notifications quickbase

Question

I have a form that when saved by a specific role, there is a form rule that updates two fields. When these two fields are updated I need a notification to be sent. I'm using those fields as the filters for my email notification but when the fields are updated with the form rule the notifications dont send. They send when I update the fields directly. Can form rules not trigger email notifications?

A Form Rule will defiantly trigger a Notification. When the Save happens, Quickbase has no knowledge of "who" changed a field, whether by form rules or by manual entry. So there must be something else gong on with your form rule or the filters / Triggers on the Notification.
