Formatting Forms in Notifications

Question

Using the %recData% marker in a notification, is there a way to modify the form that I select when "including a copy of" the form?

Particularly what I want to do is remove the Title of the application and Name of the Table from the header of the form.

Backstory - we have created a form that includes a report which will go on a Notification to non-users. The form will work great ... and to make it work even better (and look cleaner), we would like to remove the App/Table info from the form header.

See the "Form to use when displaying records" option on the email notification config screen:

So, you can create a form specifically tailored to email notifications, then select that form as the basis of the emails.

Hi Dan,That's what I currently have it set to, and am pulling the specific form that we created.What I need to do now, is somehow remove the header of the form showing the App and Table name, when the notification is sent.

I'd recommend using an Exact form or a Magic Doc to send them a pdf version of the form/child report.

You will have a lot more control over the formatting and will have a much more professional look.

How often are you sending out these reports?

Hi Matthew,The notifications would be sent daily to multiple various email addresses (many who are not users).
