- GauravSharma3Qrew CommanderHi, you can create an HTML/ CSS/ XML/ js page by following the below steps:
1. Go to App Settings.
2. Click on new page option under the user interface section.
3. Once you create your HTML page then, you can add a web widget on the home page and reference your page directly there.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Gaurav- RodCabanbanQrew TraineeI tried to reference the URL of the page I created, but it just shows the code.
Also, if I do get it working, how do you remove the "expand" arrow icon on the top right so that nobody can open that web widget in another tab/window?
Thanks so much for your help - GauravSharma3Qrew CommanderHi Rodman91,
You have to reference of the HTML page in which you have written your CSS code and there is another way to hide the expand button but, remember that piece of code will hide all "expand" arrow icon from all the reports on the homepage.
Thanks,
Gaurav - RodCabanbanQrew TraineeHello Gaurav!
OIC, ok I think i need a sample on what I need in the CSS or html page so that I did it correctly. Is putting in the URL into the web page widget the way to reference the css page?
Thanks so much for your help!
- _anomDiebolt_Qrew EliteI have no idea what you mean by "new home page". Please provide details with a screenshot and/or the code you are using. I am sure the solution is trivial to implement but I have no idea what you have attempted.
- RodCabanbanQrew TraineeYears ago we had the "old type homepages". We now have the "new home page" type in which you drag and drop the "widgets" into the dashboard. In the old type homepages, we were able to drop code into an HTML type widget. Now we have to reference a page using the "web page" widget. I would like to reference a CSS, JS or html page that i created in QB into the dashboard, but I do not know how to do it in the "new home page" type.
Thanks so much and sorry for the confusion
