How do I attach a document to a job - either pdf or excel?

I'm looking to attach a document to a job that tracks various project completion steps. Is there any way to attach a document to a job either via pdf or excel? I cannot find anywhere to attach...thanks

  • You can create a new field of type 'File Attachment' that will allow you to upload any file.   Are you just trying to attach it to the record or are you wanting to do more with it?

      thanks for your response. Potentially both...do I create a new field type in a specific job or is it a high level option (in short where do I do that? I'm new to the software)

        The field would be created in the table you track the job in.  Then the field is added to the form or forms that you use when viewing those job records.
