Hi Annie,
A relationship is the right way to pass information from a Parent Record (Your Quote table) down to your Child Table (Quote Records?) You would want a relationship where 1 Quote could have many Quote Records. Then you would need to go into each Quote Record and update them to connect to the right parent Quote in the Related Quote field (or whichever field you chose as your reference proxy). This way the records will line up and the lookup fields you add to the relationship will then pass down once they have been related together.
One thing you want to make sure is that the fields you have on the form are indeed the lookup fields you create inside that relationship as part of it and not another field with a similar name. You would also want to make sure the Related Quote field you are filling in is the one that is part of your current relationship. Sometimes when a user creates a relationship and then deletes it and creates it again they end up with multiple fields with very similar names and that trips them up. If you are still having trouble that that point you can also connect directly with our Care team and they can schedule a screenshare with you to take a look at your app together one on one and walk through what might be tripping you up. I hope this information is helpful Annie.

One more question..
Table 1 is from connected data (example salesforce). Is there a way to real time update the record?
I realized that if I create the record right after I release quotes.. Highly likely the sync did not happen yet..
Thank you!!
