how do you delete records from a table? I'm just learning this software and it seems that NOTHING is intuitive!

I am a little stumped.  Try going to Customize this report next to More then scroll to bottom under options and make sure "Edit from this report" is checked.

Also, if you click on Users then Manage roles, make sure the Admin role has Delete checked in green
