How To create Text field in form without commas. I have a situation where a certain number may contain a letter as well. I need it to display without commas.

Hello out there,

I have a need to have a number, say "Serial Number" that contains numbers and a letter or two. 

The problem is that Text fields display with commas. I need the comma removed. 

Example: Serial # = J12345

    Okay, I figured it out. 

    Start with the field as a "Numeric" with the formatting you want.

    Then change the field to "Text". the formatting comes with it. 

    Hope that helps somebody out there in the future.
