how to get my report link to show up without saving

Sorry,  but your question is not clear.  The question in the headline does not match the question in the body of the text.  Can you clarify what your question is?

I have the same question. What is being asked is that a field is selected (the company name) and when that company name is selected, a report link table displays all the employee names for that company. However, the employee's names do not show in the report until the record is saved. How do you get the report table to display values as soon as the company name is selected?

Well, that is ho it currently works.  The exception though is that if you can launch off of a Parent record for the Company and pre-populate that field when the form is first opened, then the report link will populate when the form first is loaded.
