I need to create a new relationship but not sure what to use for the reference field.

I have a relationship to a table for my directors to be pulled from my "Contacts" table to my "Tech Roster" table.  This works for my technicians assigned to a "Resource Need". Must of the other logic in my app depends on this same arrangement.  How could I pull the directors from my "Contacts" table to my "Tech Roster" to my supervisors with another relationship?
