I need to filter a report based on a condition of report line items being present

I have a report of equipment line items by project. I am being asked to filter this report and show only certain equipment types when a piece of equipment is present

So when there is equipment type A, B & C I am being asked to hide B & C from the report but in some cases there is not a Type A but there is a B & C so those will need to be present.

This report is by Divisions so the report groups the equipment by store location and there are multiple store locations per report and one or several of the stores could have this condition.
