Is there a way for me to have a field act as a drawing canvas?

There are service providers that have script that works just fine, but it is kind of like paying for a song and then paying royalties on the song every month you continue to listen to it. The services (add-ons) that use licensed script require a recurring fee.

There are some open source signature/canvas script libraries, but I have not been able to get them up and functioning on my own due to lack of time available and lack of experience with executing script via Quick Base.
