Is there a way to resize a calendar event directly on the calendar?

If, for example, I have an event on my calendar report that is 2 days long, say Monday and Tuesday, and it needs to be extended into Wednesday, is there a way to resize or "stretch" it to encompass Wednesday directly on the calendar?  In other words, I don't want to go into edit mode of the record.   .

    To my knowledge there isn't a way to edit it directly from the calendar. You can change a setting in the report though to change the behavior that when clicked it will go straight to edit which could save a click, but there isn't an out of the box way to directly edit it the way you've described at this point

    I actually thought you could do exactly that. Something like it was included in the 2018 CE vids for extending QB Certification to 2019.

    Is it that the functionality is only available from month view and not week view? Or vice versa. I don't have any calendar reports handy to test on..
