Is there a way to restrict roles from creating notifications in applications?

You can do this by going into a user role and opening up the User Interface tab for that role. Under the Menu and Table option, there is a checkbox to hide App and Table settings. As doing so, they won't be able to create notifications as they can't find a way to get into this option.
