Issues triggering webhooks

I have a webhook set up to fire when a record in my Products table is modified to sync client information with my Hubspot account. I need to modify ALL records in the table to trigger an initial sync, but it seems to only trigger the webhook for only one record, rather than all. I've tried to do a mass record update using Grid Edit and then with Automations - both with no luck. Do webhooks only fire when a record editor is opened, something is modified, then saved or can this be triggered by automations?
