In the relationship screen there are two lookup fields. One says text(lookup) the other says text(reference proxy). In use they both do the same thing but the advanced search function only works for the reference proxy field. The simple answer is yes I would like advanced search functions in regular drop down muli-line text.

Sorry, but I do not see a screen shot of your form showing the drop down fields. Just the relationship screen.

------------------------------- So, you are right, the lookup field doesn't do anything setup as in the screenshot above. I had to change it to a text-multiple choice using a list from another field, which is not searchable. Can I make it searchable? Or can I make copies of the reference proxy lookup field? I couldn't figure out a way to do that.
