New Dashboard Date Filters

I have created a dashboard in the new Dashboard pages.  I have several charts on the dashboard and I would like the filter for the charts to default to the date range of the previous month.  The filters go blank every time you go back into the home page and do not keep the filters.  I can't build it into the report because I want them to be able to select a date range as well, but for it to default to the prior month.  Has anyone found a work around for this issue?

  • I also have this problem.  It does the same with any of the dynamic filters and it's very frustrating for the end users trying to use it.

In our case,  we had to go back to our old dashboard because there is no work around for this.

  • In situations like this, I think it's useful to create the first tab filtered to the "defaults" you want and then provide additional unfiltered tabs for other filters.
