We can certainly offer a pdf viewer as an add-on. The other file types are a bit of a challenge though but pdf viewer would not be a big challenge.

3 years agoJust to add to what Keith said above, I have a client with a very extensive image library of jpg files for each of their SKU items located on their internal servers. They are used in their IBM Enterprise Computing System to show product images both to the internal Customer Service Reps as well as a Customer facing Shopping Cart type app, but we wanted to leverage this image library and expose them in various Quickbase applications as well.
Browsers are deliberately designed such that for security purposes they cannot crawl into your computer's hard drive or server file paths, so that means that Quickbase cannot natively show those files. We worked with Juiced to allow their servers to access our image library and then they render the image within Quickbase in a seamless User Experience manner.
