Pipeline to identify next date

I am attempting to create a pipeline/automation that will update a parent record with the next date in a series of child records. My set up is an equipment log where we are tracking calibrations.  A piece of equipment can have different types of calibrations that are required on different dates/frequencies.  The calibration records include a [Next Calibration] date field.

When calibrations are added, I would like to query the calibrations related to that same equipment and ultimately identify the record with the date of the next required calibration. Then I would push the Next Calibration date up to the Equipment Log record. 

I have set up the query for the related equipment, but am having trouble with the next date piece.  Any help is appreciated.
