Reference field are not getting automatically selected after importing

I have 2 tables - A & B which I imported from an excel file.

A have fields - ShowId(key),  show name, show time

B have fields - ActorFirst name, ActorLast name, Phone, ShowId

I have made a one to many relationship between A and B with A as Parent and B as child. A report link was also created to directly see all Actors with each show.  

But I'm not able to see the filtered table B when i click the report link in Table A. I have to manually go to each record and edit the reference. is there a way to automatically add the reference based on the showid which is present in both tables.

    Can you tell us the field name in table B which holds the ShowID, and also in the relationship between One Show has many Actor Performances, what field is used for the Related Show?  I suspect that you let QuickBase create a new field called [Related Show] when in fact you should have built the relationship to use the [ShowlD] field.

    In Table B, is ShowID the field that is being used as the reference field for the relationship to Table A?

      I have been looking for that but I'm not able to find how it can be set as a reference field. Please guide me how to make showid as the reference field

        You will need to delete the relationship and then make the relationship again,  but this time select ShowID as the reference field.  You will end up with a left over field called something like [Related Show]  and that can be deleted.
