No my method involved making a formula URL button which either edits or adds a userid to a table of users where the Key field is the userid field, and recording the Record ID# of the invoice and the  Record ID# of the Customer. 

Then formula URL button runs a saved table to table import and mass updates the orders for the customer to fill on the field for [Related Invoice] on any orders which have not yet been assigned to an invoice.
