Search button on App home opens record in edit mode

Hi,

I have a table called Person, which has child table Orders. We can place multiple orders for each person. Each person is provided with unique ID QR code, which we have brought down to Order table as lookup field.

In the app home, we have search order field using this unique ID QR code. This brings single order of the day for that specific person.

When I search the barcode using search field in App home, I want to open the record in edit mode. And once saved, we would like to return back to Home Screen where search field is present, to search next order.

We are using Quickbase mobile app for this workflow. 

I would appreciate any guidance to accomplish this in mobile app.
