How do you sort a stacked bar chart based on the total value of the bar. The chart only allows for sorting based on the values in the X axis. In my case these are peoples names. I am looking to sort the bars from highest to lowest. I have tried by using formula numeric fields .... no luck. If anyone has this solved... let me know
You can sort by the Y-Axis value on a Bar Chart. Perhaps somebody else knows a hack or work around for the stacked bar.
Yeah as soon as you leverage a stacked bar chart, you loose the native functionality of sorting. To Don's point, you may be able to hide some values inside of a rich text field that you could use to sort in the y-axis.

The other option is to use something like Tableau or Qlik. BI/BA tools can make any type of report of chart you can dream about.
