Summary Field
I'm trying to create a table to record hours for truck drivers in our company. Each day, they record hours worked and hours driven, along with the date, truck number, etc. One of the columns on the sheet they're currently filling out is Daily Recap. This is a running total of hours worked (Doesn't include hours driven which is part of the hours worked). Each week that number starts over but is still recorded for the month on the sheet.
in other words:
Day 1 8 hours 2 hours driving Daily Recap = 8
Day 2 8 hours 2 hours driving Daily Recap = 16
Day 3 8 hours 2 hours driving Daily Recap = 24
Day 4 8 hours 2 hours driving Daily Recap = 32
Day 5 8 hours 2 hours driving Daily Recap = 40
Day 6 OFF
Day 7 OFF
Day 8 8 hours 2 hours driving Daily Recap = 8
Etc.
The problem I'm running in to is the Daily Recap number. I can't get a running total field to work. And if I do, how do I have it start over the following week and still show up on their monthly recap report. I don't want to create multiple tables to do this one thing and am looking for a way to get this running total to work.
Thank you.
