The Favorite Button isn't working
Open any report and click Favorite. Nothing appears to happen. The report is not added to your favorites.

Yes in that point I would recommend opening a support case and indicating this is what you are running into. We are trying to get specifics on everyone that is having this issue while our PD Team is looking into it.- Tested this in our environment, favorite icon breaks in all apps that are not using the default purple. It doesn't work whenever there is custom color branding.

You are correct our Escalation Lead saw this thread and he reached out to confirm to me that the broken Favorite bug does seem to only happen in an application that is using custom colors for the header instead of the default purple. We just want to make sure that everyone putting in cases is clear whether they are having an issue with not seeing an icon (which should now be resolved) and the Favorite report not populating. That way we can be sure everything gets correctly tied together as we continue to investigate that issue and then we can also make sure our users are notified when a patch or fix is put into place. - any update or ETA on the patch? I am have the second issue. I still cannot add reports to the favorite bar.

Actually I have fallen away from using the Favorites button. Instead I just use a Service Worker to splice in my own Quick Access Buttons (there is a lot of space there so why not put it to good use):AN - ANalysis
BD - Big Data
ML - Machine Learning
IT - Internet of Things
WF - WorkFlow Manager
AR - Augmented Reality
VR - Virtual Reality
SW - Service Worker Manager
PL - PLugin Manager - I have several apps each with anywhere from a few to many reports I like quick access to.. I'm not sure this solution would work for me.

At this time the bug related to this issue (QBE012118) is still open and being assessed by our PD Team for a fix. The work around listed above can help temporarily while they are looking into the favorites issue. If you would like to be updated automatically on this issue if you submit a support case we can tie it to the open investigation into this issue and you will be notified when a patch or fix is put into place. I am sorry for the inconvenience while our team continues to work on a fix for this issue.
- Well it has been four weeks so if you don't like the situation use script as I do or find an bookmark extension that solves the problem (there are many):
