The sandbox is not really built for best practices

While I appreciate where this is, there are some glaring issues with the implementation that leave this feature being not able to be used in a manner all IT best practices would recommend.  Examples ...

David, While I agree with you on the point that we cannot choose which change to publish and leave the rest in the sandbox, I must respectfully disagree on the new table situation. If you created a new table in the Sandbox, and created a new relationship with it etc in the sandbox, when you publish it will create the new table and the new relationship exactly they way did it in the sandbox. I have done that many times over.
