Trigger Pipeline with Rich Text Formula Field?

Question

Is it possible to manually Trigger a Pipeline with a Rich Text Formula Field Button or some other method besides going into pipelines and clicking run?
I have a Pipeline that checks the status in a Sharepoint List that I can schedule but I don't want it to run everyday if there are no open projects going on at the time. I do have it filtered so that it checks the status in QB before it looks at Sharepoint so it would technically not use run quotas if there are not open projects.
I also might need it to run more often than scheduled and have another user run it.

You can use the button to check or uncheck a checkbox and that action (of modifying the field in the record) triggers the pipeline. I don't believe a formula field itself can be the trigger.
