Upload File to Dropbox from with in the app

I would like the user to be able to upload a file that will reside in Dropbox right from the app.  All of the examples I have found, the user uploads the file to Dropbox and then the pipeline links the record.  Is it possible to create a button or something to do this or do I use the native File Attachment and then the pipeline moves to Dropbox in the proper folder?
