Uploading data to multi select fields

Question

As I am uploading historical data from a MS Access database where my safety table is linked to various factor responsible, I have a couple of question:

1. What is the correct procedure to upload many factors to one safety incident when I have factors in my QB screen as a multi select field and not quite as a separate table.
2. Is it permissible to upload relevant factors to an existing field multi select field to appear multi selected in QB?

I have no idea, but you may want to reconsider the design of the app to have the factors be a child table to safety incidents. When you go to analyze your data, having the factors in a multi-select field is going to limit your analysis ability.
