View Document History

Does anyone know of a way to see document history and to access at least some of the previously generated documents with the new Quickbase document generator (a.k.a Document Templates)?

  • If you connect  with the good folks at Juiced, they have a way that you can store the generated documents in a file attachment field. I think there's a certain amount of that you can do at no cost. I suggest you explore the options with them. Then it's up to you how many previous Versions you want to save all previous versions that is the setting on the File attachment field

Yea, we know how to do this with Juiced.  We are seeking a way to see the document history with the new QB document generation capability.

Well you would need to find a way to attach the document to a file attachment file.  This thread has code for a Pipeline which apparently will do that.
