Some fields from the form B are used in a formula field on Form A. Is it possible to see the effects of changes made to fields on Form B, dynamically i.e. without saving Form B and returning to the parent form, i.e. Form A. Fields X and Y are requried to be dropdowns and will both have their own options and values; options of Y are a subset of that of X. However when Y is chose, it should also change X. Inshort, if Y has a specific value in it then X should also have the same value. ------------------------------ Naveed Ahmed ------------------------------ Field Y to get copied on field X, just within the same record...I have 2 fields (X and Y) within the same table. If within a particular record, if Y is modified, I want X to get the same value. If Y is in record# 22 only, only this record's field X should be modified. How would automation help?Re: Is it possible to dynamically change the default position/value of a dropdown based on a formula.Hi Surya, I do not understand. Will appreciate some clarity. One is a normal/regular field and the other (which needs to be made dynamic) is a drop-down.Is it possible to dynamically change the default position/value of a dropdown based on a formula. For e.g. Dropdown has 3 option: (X,Y,Z). If field A has the value 1, Dropdown should have default value (or automatically sets to the value) of X and iffield A has the value 2, Dropdown should have default value (or automatically sets to the value) of Y.I want to make a report on how many times the users have accessed QB.
