In that I have a drop down with Contract Details Available Completed Billing Final Costing Closed I would like to know how many days (or hours) that this record is in each stage. Do I need another table to do this? ------------------------------ Tina Revermann ------------------------------ querry list of projects Hello. I have a PROJECTS table, DAILY REPORTS table, and a MONTHS table. daily report table is a child of the projects table. The daily reports of course have the date that we work on the project. There could be one daily report but there could also be 10 daily reports associated to the project. I have created on the MONTHS table a field to get a list of projects that we worked on each month. I have been able to get this HOWEVER, if they worked that project on 5 days that month, the project shows up 5 times on the list. the formula I am using is : var text QUERY="{38.OAF.'" & ([Month Start]) & "'}AND{38.OBF.'" & LastDayOfMonth([Month Start]) & "'}"; ToText(GetFieldValues(GetRecords($QUERY,[_DBID_DAILY_REPORTS]),173)) fid 38 being the date of the daily report. and fid173 being the related project would also be great if I could put them in alphabetical order. Any suggestions on how to get rid of the duplicates? ------------------------------ Tina Revermann ------------------------------ Re: Pipeline and Google DocsI have thought about that. I am not a huge fan of Exact Forms but that may be the way I need to go. Thanks ------------------------------ Tina Revermann ------------------------------ Re: Pipeline and Google DocsAt the beginning of a project we will have guys that do not have access to the app (laborers, truck drivers, etc) that will need to know some information. ie. (jobsite address, material pick up address, hours, etc). The foreman sees it and can relay it BUT I would like him to be able to click a button and it print or at least open so he can click print to hand to his guys. I know I could build a report but there are alot of different fields and it is best on a doc then an spreadsheet. There are also field that I don't want the laborers, truck drivers, etc to see. Hence why I want to build a doc. I was thinking that google docs may be the best place to store this template. unless you have another option. ------------------------------ Tina Revermann ------------------------------ Pipeline and Google DocsHoping someone can help. I have a table called Projects. I have a google docs file called Job Packet. I would like to take info out of that projects table and fill the Job Packet info. for example. in projects have a field called "Full Name". in the google Doc file have a line that reads: Project: "Full Name". I understand that I can use pipelines to replace text in a Google Docs File and that I have figured out how to do. What I am having problems with is: The trigger. What do I use as a trigger? I would love to have a button on the Projects table that I could click. How do I get google docs not to save the report and always go back to the template. In other words if I run it for Project "ABC" will Google Docs now save "Full Name" as "ABC"? I don't need to save this, don't need to record this. I basically need to be able to press a button and print the document out for my supervisors(who have access to the app) to print to give to his employees. Thank you, ------------------------------ Tina Revermann ------------------------------Re: multiple customersWell first.... Can I just put a customer #2 field in and pull from the the customer table? Do I have to do another parent / Child relationship? And then, the second part is.... can I select contacts from both customers? ------------------------------ Tina Revermann ------------------------------ multiple customersHELP!!! I have a situation I am trying to decide what to do. currently have Tables Customer Contact Opportunity Opportunity Contact selection Customer is parent to Contact Contact is parent to Opportunity Contact Selection Opportunity is parent to Opportunity Contact Selection. Thus making Opportunity Contact selection table linked or many to many table In my Opportunity table I have a customer field. I would like to be able to put a customer #2 field in that I can pull another customer. ie. Main customer and secondary customer because sometimes we do work for a municipality directly and sometimes we do work for the municipality but it is under a General Contractor (or engineering firm) where the General Contractor would be our customer. I would also then like to be able to select contacts from either one of the customers. Can this be done and how? ------------------------------ Tina Revermann ------------------------------ Pipeline and linked child tablesI am working on a pipeline to convert an opportunity to a project. I have that all built and all the fields put in . HOwever, I have 3 child fields (quotes, activities, and documents) and the records will be linked to the opportunity. What is the easiest way to link all of these child records to the project so they show up on the report links during the conversion? I didn't know if it could happen in the same pipeline as the conversion, or if i had to make a separate one. ------------------------------ Tina Revermann ------------------------------ Re: Report coming from different TablesThanks Mark! This worked Great! ------------------------------ Tina Revermann ------------------------------ Re: If/Then statements in Exact Form - Need Help I am almost there. I got those field to work and show up on a list. However, I also have a multi-select box that I got on the list by using ToText but if numerous items are checked they show up on one line. Anyway to get these to show on multiple lines? Here is my formula. Its itemfive that I am having the problem with. var text itemone = If([Opportunity - Resident notification required]="YES","•" & [Resident Notifications for Proposal],""); var text itemtwo = If([Opportunity - NO Parking signs required]="YES","•" & [No Parking for Proposal], ""); var text itemthree =If([Opportunity - Sweeping Responsibility]="POST", "•" & [Sweeping Responsibility for Proposal],If([Opportunity - Sweeping Responsibility]="PRE/POST","•" & [Sweeping Responsibility for Proposal],"")); var text itemfour ="•" & "Furnish and Apply" & If([Opportunity - Product]="REC"," Reclamite",If([Opportunity - Product]="CRF"," CRF","")); var text itemfive = "•" &If(ToText([CAM to])<>"",ToText([CAM to])); List("<br>", $itemone, $itemtwo, $itemthree, $itemfour, $itemfive) Tina Revermann Operations Manager Corrective Asphalt Materials, LLC 300 Daniel Boone Trail South Roxana, IL 62087 618-254-3855 – office phone 618-484-7650 – Direct line/cell 618-254-2200 – fax
