I would like location services to determine what site your currently closest to to auto select that site. Is this possible?Table Relationship by dayI have a table where all employees have an overtime record for everyday of the year. I want to have a second table where I will have vacation requests for each employee. There will be just one request per day but not every day. When an employee overtime record is being looked at, I need to know if they have a vacation request for the one day in question. How would I set up that relationship? How do I color code a record that is on the Calendar Report based on a value?Where would I add the formula so that the color coding would work on the calendar? I want something like this: If([Probation]="Yes",Red If([Overtime Issued]="Yes",GreenRe: Unique Record based on date in form.I figured it out using an IF formula.... If([Remove from List]=false,List("-",ToText([Quickbase User Name]),ToText([Overtime Volunteer Date])),"") Thanks again for the help and tips!Re: Unique Record based on date in form. Here is what I came up with for the unique field... List("-",ToText([Quickbase User Name]),ToText([Overtime Volunteer Date])) The field that has the check box is "Remove from ListRe: Unique Record based on date in form. That did the trick, I had a different field as the reference field and once I change it, I now get the error for duplicate records. Next Challenge, do you have a work around for this? Each employee has the option to "Remove" their request by clicking a check mark. I have the views set up to filter out any request with a check mark. In theory, its deleted without actually using the delete option. Thanks again!Re: Unique Record based on date in form.I have made the changes and I get an error when trying to make the field unique. It says: Unique Record based on date in form.I am having an employee submit a record on my table. Each record will have the Quickbase user name and it will also have the employee number for them. When creating the record, they have to select a date. I want the table to be restricted so that the employee can only create 1 record for each date. Any time they try to add or modify a record, if the date field matches a record already created by that same employee, I want a message to pop up. At minimum, not being able to save.Re: Can a relationship field be populated based off of the current user rather than using a dropdown to select?I copied the application and then removed all of my employees that do not currently have quickbase username. That seemed to do the trick with the Key field and then that also allowed me to set the default as current user. Eventually all employees will have a quickbase username so that should work. Thanks!Re: Can a relationship field be populated based off of the current user rather than using a dropdown to select?Would I do that in the main table "Employee"? I have a separate table where they are creating records that has a relationship of "Employee has many records" Also, I seem to get errors when trying to convert the field to Key. If needed, Ill get the text of the error. Thanks for the help! Marc
