Hopefully an easy question/answer. My portfolio of APPs is growing. Many of them are only periodically viewed. Is there a way to create an "umbrella" app, called Archives where older apps can be stored? I a previous email, I asked for support for using the checkbox feature for triggering email notifications. I wanted the checkbox to automatically uncheck itself after the email was issued. I was informed that the Automation feature could accomplish that feature. I had unsuccessfully tried to program the Automation feature to do what I wanted it to do. It was then suggested to me to try a button field (vs a checkbox) to auto issue an email notification. Is there such a feature in QB as a trigger button? If so, please give me specific instructions on how to trigger the auto emails, either via the button or checkbox. I thank you in advance. I'm using the checkbox feature to trigger an action (i.e., such as issuing an automatic Notification email). Question - once that trigger is executed (i.e., issued the automatic Notification email), can the checkbox be configured to automatically be unchecked, so that it's available for the next time a trigger action is needed? I'd like to use the Checkbox feature to trigger an action. For example, whenever there are record changes (i.e new record added, deleted or an existing record is modified), a QB-generated notification (email) is sent out to selective people by the record editor by simply checking the checkbox. That is, edits could occur that are not substantial enough to trigger a QB-generated email, so the editor would not check the checkbox. If substantial enough to merit notifying people, then the checkbox would be checked and a notification is issued. I know how to add a checkbox to a record and I know how to setup the notification option. But I need help on how to link the two together (checkbox with the notification feature). Hopefully a simple question. Our company is a new QB subscriber. Several of us have already designed new apps and are ready to role them out to the general employee population for use. I'd like to prepare a simple "cheat sheet" or user guide to explain the basics of "using" QB apps (not to design new apps). So, is there a simple user guide (i.e., Using QB 101) that is available within the QB universe or do I need to start from scratch and develop one? Thank you in advance for any feedback. Mark, thanks for replying. Just to be clear, I'm asking about the top purple ribbon that starts with the icon My Apps. I'd like to rearrange those apps so that my favorite ones are first in line, starting right after the My Apps icon. I spent about 30 minutes trying to figure out how to do that (unsuccessfully).
