This app has been live for a couple years and there are over 7,000 files in the table. We are looking for other storage options for a couples of reasons including direction from the business, and would like to store files in SharePoint and use the URL to the SharePoint file moving forward. My question is, is there a way to utilize the SharePoint channel in Pipelines to bulk upload all the current ~7,000 attachments to a SharePoint list so that we do not have to have migrate attachments 1 at a time? ------------------------------ Thanks in advance, Jennifer Paschal ------------------------------ Dashboard Report Hiding Columns? Hello - On a dashboard I have several reports added. The right most report is a table report with two columns. On my monitor I am able to see all the info when at 100% zoom. On my laptop screen, it gets cut off with a scroll bar. I understand it is the size difference, but the issue is if I scroll to the right in the report it does not actually scroll the report so it does not display the second column at all. Playing around with zoom on the screen I've figured out it is functioning as if (in excel) i froze the first column, so the first column does not scroll but the second does. so (on my laptop) in order to see the full report I have to zoom out to 50%. Any idea why this is happening or how to fix since I assume a majority of users will be only on a laptop screen at one point or another and viewing way zoomed out is not ideal. ------------------------------ Thanks in advance, Jennifer Paschal ------------------------------ Pipelines - Send Summary Email of Records Updated Hello - I have a pipeline that looks through a table for records that meet certain criteria. Each record found is then updated. I would like to send an email summary of the records updated with one or two fields from the record (for example record ID, record owner, field ID 1 (status or record). I believe this would go outside of the For Each step (so after the loop of searching and updating records) but not sure how to capture/input the fields/summary of what has been changed. Is this possible to do? ------------------------------ Thanks in advance, Jennifer Paschal ------------------------------ Re: Multi select field from another table Okay, thanks! I did some testing and it does keep the historical in the dropdown but if you go in to edit the record it does not allow a save. I will just stick with removing older values completely since it was more of a 'nice to have'. Thanks! ------------------------------ Thanks in advance, Jennifer Paschal ------------------------------ Re: Multi select field from another table Will deleting list items from the table cause records with that value selected to turn red/be put in "" and cause an error when trying to edit/save the record? ------------------------------ Thanks in advance, Jennifer Paschal ------------------------------ Multi select field from another table Hello - For dropdowns that change values, it is helpful to use a separate table to store the values in and then use a field to mark values as active (allows you to drive which options show in the dropdown but allows you to also maintain historical data values). Is there a way to do this with a multi select field? The goal is to allow me a way to tell Quickbase which values to show, allowing the options to change over time and maintain historical records while not clogging up the dropdown choices with things like "retired do not use - Option A". ------------------------------ Thanks in advance, Jennifer Paschal ------------------------------ Help with Rich Text Elements on Dashboard Hello - On my dashboard I have several gauge reports showing as counters and the numbers are all different sizes (and appear bolded compared to other text on screen), so I would love to use a Rich Text element instead to have more control over formatting. Is there a way to add field values (in this case a summary numeric value) to Rich Text elements using the code <> option? If so, are there any resources on syntax? ------------------------------ Thanks in advance, Jennifer Paschal ------------------------------ Rich Text Element (Forms and Dashboards) Hello - Is there a way to add field values to Rich Text elements added to the forms (new layout) or Dashboards using the code <> option? If so, are there any resources on syntax? Edit: For example - On my dashboard I have several gauge reports showing as counters and the numbers are all different sizes (and appear bolded compared to other text on screen), so I would love to use a Rich Text to have more control over formatting. ------------------------------ Thanks in advance, Jennifer Paschal ------------------------------ Pipeline Conditions Hello - Looking for some advice on how to consolidate pipelines. Pipeline 1 objective: when a record is created with Field A(trigger table) = X or Y or Z and Field B(trigger table) = 1; search a table for Field A and create a child record for each returned with Field C(child table) = 100%. Pipeline 2 objective: when a record is created with Field A(trigger table) = X or Y or Z and Field B(trigger table) != 1; search a table for Field A and create a child record for each returned with Field C(child table) = 0%. Is there a way to accomplish this in one pipeline? I have several use cases for this pipeline so they are quickly adding up to a lot to manage. ------------------------------ Thanks in advance, Jennifer Paschal ------------------------------ Quickly Identify Invalid Choices Hello - When an invalid multiple-choice option is bulk uploaded into a field it shows as red. Is there any easy way to identify records with invalid options for data cleanup? I can export all my multiple-choice fields and manually compare records to the valid choices of dropdowns but would love a faster/simpler way to manage this. I have not seen a way to sort/filter by invalid options quickly within QB which would be my first thought. Any advice on the best way to does this type of cleanup efficiently? ------------------------------ Thanks in advance, Jennifer Paschal ------------------------------
