ContributionsMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRecord "Last Modified" DateOur admin support team wants to know when a record was last modified except if certain fields were modified. As far as I know: one way to track this is to use email notifications that fire if a record was modified except for certain fields there are fields that can track when they, individually, were modified, but we'd have to change almost every field in the table to that type of field, which we don't want to do ...but they want a field they can sort by in reports that reflects this. I'm not sure there's any native way to do this, or even if there is a 3rd party add-in that enables this, but I told them I'd post a question about this. Any ideas? Thank you!!! ------------------------------ Amber Pollard ------------------------------ Need to See Details of Child Records in Parent TableI have a parent table Contracts and need to see the values (text) from 1 of the child records (whichever record has the checkbox filled in the field "Active Contract?") for the child table Contract Versions. I need to bring up 3 values from the child table, Start Date, End Date and Amount. Can someone help me think through how to establish a reverse relationship to pull these values to the parent table? I've done this before but I'm having trouble thinking through the exact steps and in which orderand it looks like the answers to my old questions have been lost when the discussion forum changed to a new site. And I haven't yet found anything in searches which covers this. Thank you! ------------------------------ Amber P ------------------------------Formula Needed to Selectively List Characters Between Other CharactersI keep a list of progress and to do items in a text field, some of the lines start with the underscore character to indicating they are a pending to do item. Is there a way to only list the pending to do items? For example, for a record that contains: _ Make bed _ Buy yogurt Items purchased online (9/24 3PM) X Clean out fridge Returned phonecalls (9/24 2PM) _ Take out trash I'd like have to another field that looks at my first field and selectively lists: _ Make bed _ Buy yogurt _ Take out trash Thank you! ------------------------------ Amber Amber ------------------------------Re: How to Users Log Out of QuickBaseAh, I got it, my fault, then! Thank you!Re: How to Users Log Out of QuickBaseMy UI shows no "name" at the top-right. Attached is what I see. I am on Chrome. How to Users Log Out of QuickBaseAn associate is asking me how to log out of QuickBase and the only forums answer I see is from 6 years ago when the UI must have been different because it mentions clicking on the users logo at the top-right, and there is nothing like this now. We use regular sign-on functionality, not SSO. How do users log off of QuickBase? Thanks.Re: Date Column Too Wide Thank you, this is happening to several of my apps that Ive seen thus far. Essentially, if I create a new report, as soon as I try to rename the column headings the spaces on the column Ive renamed gets very wide and pushes other columns to be narrow. If there are two columns Ive renamed, they both get very wide and push out other columns to be narrow. Im in Chrome Version 73.0.3683.86 (Official Build) (64-bit) Re: Date Column Too WideAs I add more data this same report has now made another column too wide, as well. I would contact customer care, but I'm presenting this for review TOMORROW so I was hoping to get answers soon!Date Column Too WidePretty self-explanatory, I guess -- why is my date column too wide? It's a basic "date" field-type. It's set to display without wrapping, but that should be okay. I did edit the column name to "Date" (with no spaces before or after) but the field is called "Date Input", which is also short. Re: Key Field Has No Option to Assign Reference ProxyGreat, I'm not sure how I got so mixed up, but I found it now and have created a proxy. Thank you!
