How do I find the application ID.
I want to grab information from another application to a table in a separate application. When I go thru the process to do this... I am presented with a few feilds one of them being "Application ID" I can NOT proceed unless I enter in a "Application ID" Where can I find this?11Views0likes3CommentsLink/button to open specific form
I have a report that lists customers. When I choose a customer it brings up a form that has a ton of useful summary info about the customer brought in from many parts of the application (this is done with report links, charts, etc). I would like to be able to insert buttons (or links) on other forms (in other tables) in the app so that when I am viewing a particular customer I can reference info for the customer by launching that useful summary form for that specific customer. Ideally the form with the summary customer info would open in another window so the user can easily reference info between that new window and the form they were working on (or at least open it in a new tab). I assume this can be done with a formula url field but I am not clear on the code to use that calls the specific form I need and also ties to the customer of the record I am in at the time. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Tony10Views2likes34CommentsAdd Logo to Quickbase Header
I'd like to add our company logo to the header area of Quickbase, but am having trouble. If I use the 'Basic' option, the field to insert the logo is too short for the full URL. With the 'HTML' option, I don't know where to put the file so it can be referenced. Hello, I have a customer support tracking application. Clients will call in to the helpdesk and those help desk employees will "create a new phone call". When they open the phone call record the timer starts and when the save the phone call the timer stops. This is our way of tracking phone call times and resolution times. Help desk employees are also able to add a new support ticket (parent record) from the phone call (child record) screen by choosing the record picker and clicking "add new". This works okay. But the issue is when they have already filled out all the client information on the phone call screen and they try to add a ticket (parent record) the ticket does not pull the phone call information up-stream. They have to re-select the client and everything. Is there a way to create a url formula to add a parent record that will also automatically select the client (by key field) and any other information? I am not very well versed in URL formulas. I have done them before but they were fairly simple ones. I am not sure where to even begin with this one. The biggest thing we need is that when they click the Add record button the phone call screen can not save yet because we need the timer to keep running. So i need this add record button to open a pop up window with the phone call information populating up-stream. Any advice on how to begin this process would be much appreciated. Hi, I am working on an app that I think I can monetize, sell to several of my clients. I am having a hard time finding any guidance on how to best do this. Am I able to copy the app into their QB account? Or would it be better to keep the app in my QB account and then grant them access? If I do this for multiple clients will they be able to use SSO on their end? Hope the question makes sense. Thanks for your help!6Views2likes5CommentsHow do you hide the UI elements (including the table bar) at the top of a form?
I remember it has something to do with adding a few letters to the end of the URL but I can't remember which letters! I have used it before for forms but am hoping to test it with a QB home page this time.5Views2likes8Comments
