Is there a better way? Report filter where user list includes current user
The way I solve the following issue, doesn't feel like the best way. It seems like there should be a simpler solution. On my reports, often have scenarios where I have a user list field, and simply want a filter: If the [User List] includes the current user. This is not an option, so I end up making a formula list user field, that is: Touserlist(User()) Then my filter is: If the [User List] includes the users in the field [Current User List]. Is there an easier way? ------------------------------ Mike Tamoush ------------------------------95Views1like5CommentsLine and Bar Graph - Can we put the Line and Bar on the same axis?
Hi - I'm looking to create a Line and Bar graph where the line and bar use the same axis. Is this possible? Seems to me there is no option to use the same axis only the option to use a line and bar on separate axis. Thanks48Views0likes7CommentsCan I create a filed/report to show the size of attachments?
Hi there, As my quickbase attachments space is reaching the storage limit, I hope to check all my documents by size and start to remove the largest files. I can sort all documents by the date, by name, or by other fields. However, I was wondering can I create a field to show the size of the files? Like, we can sort emails by attachment size and delete those largest. Thank you. ------------------------------ Ning W ------------------------------60Views0likes6CommentsTotal Field or Column Header Colorization in a Summary Report
Hello, I have a summary report shown below, 1 of 9 that I'm building. Each of these summary reports takes a particular set of Statuses and totals them. Each total OR column headers will need to be colorized (red, yellow or green) and placed on our Homepage Dash. These status totals are not related to any dates or timelines. They are used for showing the total $ amount of insurance policies that were entered for the previous month, current month and next month by status. For example, the report above shows policies from the previous month. It would be amazing if I could make the Status and Annual TP column header red, given these totals represent policies that were Declined, Surrendered, Withdrawn etc. My next report would then be colorized yellow for policies that have a different set of statuses, then green column headers for policies for example that have been paid. Hope this makes sense! I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks for any help!210Views1like18CommentsHow do I Default back to old style of Table Report -
In one app I checked to view a table report in the New Style (beta). Now every report I view in any of the many apps I manage defaults to the New Style. I do not like this new style as all of the dynamic filters disappear from all of the existing reports. How do I change the default back to the "old" style. I have been fielding questions from customers today for they too are asking how to switch their default back. Not very friendly. ------------------------------ Suzy Kania ------------------------------104Views1like9CommentsHow can we email a custom dashboard page as a subscription?
I've found that sometimes users prefer dashboards to multiple emailed reports. How can I email the users a dashboard page I have created that includes a couple of summary reports, a chart as well as one full report in an email subscription? Is this possible with native QB? If yes, where is the setting option? I'm only seeing a report drop down in subscriptions. I'm not seeing a similar option to select a page . Hi Everyone, We get bids from vendor on projects (RFPs). For each project we end up having different information submitted. As a result we often end up with an embedded table on the project record where only 10/40 fields have any information Users are annoyed that they have to look at so many empty fields. Is there a way to display only the columns in a report if values are present? For example, if the project has no value for "Rent" in any of the projects related "Bid" records, don't show the "Rent" Field in the project's embedded report. I realize that we could achieve this by having multiple reports, however, we've come to the conclusion this would require maintaining over 200 reports, so we're looking for another solution.
