There are a variety of solutions. I am assuming that you want to continue to have the ability to enter data manually.
On way is to create a new Target field called [Zapier Full Name], and then create two new formula fields for the first name and last name and then use a pipeline to copy the value of those fields into your data entry fields.
Another choice is similar but make new fields for First Name and Last Name fields as formula fields based on the Zapier full name and the existing data entry fields which would probably be renamed to be [First Name (data entry)] and [Last Name data entry)].
What that even person out a full name field into first name and last name we'll have a certain degree of messiness to it because some people will have three names and weird hyphenated names and prefixes and suffixes etc.

Subject: Integration of Full Name field
We are using a conference platform for our virtual event. In past years we have had to import all attendees into Quickbase. The platform now integrates with Zapier which we could use to have registered attendees automatically imported into Quickbase. The issue is that the platform only collects the full name, and our database has a First Name and Last Name field. Although we have a formula field combining these values, it doesn't appear as a option when I try to complete an import.
How can I import a full name field and have it populate the First and Last name fields?
Full Name into First Name and Last Name
