Search Widget to render results - not load record

Hi, I'm not sure if this is possible or not. 

I have a home page that has a search widget. 
The Search widget is set to filter a report view for a list of employees. 
If the Employee name is exact - it will load the record instead of the report view. 

is there any way to set the search widget to load the report view only and not the employee record?
