Automatically Create New "Client Health" Records Each Month

I would like to understand how I can automatically generate new records for a report each month that will allow my users to easily enter client health across their portfolios without having to input their full list of client names each time.

Context: I have a "client assignments" table connected to a "client health" table. The client assignments table has a 'Program Name' field and client team members are assigned to programs by their user name. I would like a new set of records generated for each person who is assigned to a client program. Meaning, if we have 3 team members assigned to a program, 3 new records would be generated for the related program name in the client health table. The rest of the fields would be blank and allow team members to easily fill out their client health records each monthly.

Is this something that is possible? I looked at pipelines but wasn't sure exactly what to search for when trying to identify a solution.

Attached is an example of what I would like to see as a Client Team Member. Hopefully that makes sense!

  • Can you name your key tables and their One to Many Relationships.  Also, how are Team Members "Assigned" to a Program.

      Hi Mark,

My key tables are 'Programs' and 'Team' which each have a 1:Many relationship with the join table 'Client Assignments' which is the table that we assign team members in. Each team member is assigned to many programs and each program can have many team members.

Then I currently have 'Programs' attached to 'Client Health' with a 1:Many relationship (1 Program has many client health records). But as I'm typing this, I'm realizing it should probably be a 1:Many from 'Client Assignments' to 'Client Health'. (1 client assignment has many client health records).

Hopefully that is helpful, I'm still learning Quickbase, so let me know if there are any other details I can provide. Thanks for looking into this!

I think, that I'm still not understanding clearly your relationships and which record type you want to auto create.

Can you post a picture of your relationships by using the Relationship diagram tool in App Management?
