Drilldown report behavior

I know you can choose a drilldown report in many scenarios, but found one that I can't figure out. Not sure if it's operator error or not.

I created a report and grouped from low to high by a certain field. There is an option to show summary table based on grouped columns.

When viewing that report, and subsequently that summary table, there is a 'Details' button you can push. Can you control the report that will go to? Or will it always go to the default table report?

    I believe that only the summary report type supports the concept of a drill down target. You cannot control the drill down target on a regular table report even though you were showing some subtotals  at the bottom of the report. It is still inherently a table report type.
