Help with Associating multiple contacts to a single event

I am creating a new app and I am struggling on setting up a feature request for our marketing team.  The ask is this:

Create a way to utilize our database of account contacts with their associated name, email, and phone number on file so we can create a "guest list" for virtual events being planned and tracked in a QuickBase table.  The idea is we would create a sales event in the events table and create a multi-select field or embedded report to select multiple contacts from multiple accounts to invite to this event.

I believe I need to do a many to many relationship between my tables of accounts, account contacts, and events to do this but I am struggling on getting the "select multiple contacts from multiple accounts in one drop down or report" where you search by the persons name in the events table and they get associated to the event.

Any help is appreciated

  • The relationship set up is that one Sales  Event has many Sales Event Contacts
one Contact has many Sales Event Contacts

Then you just add them one by one.

If you have a strong enough need to be able to make the process of adding sales event contacts more quickly by launching off a sales event and then click click clicking your way down a list of possible contacts then the  set up for that is a little more complicated but can be done.    That method involves using some formula URL buttons and we might need to get on a call for a half hour to get that set up.
