How do I redirect to a thank you page after ""everyone on the internet"" role submits a form?

I have a form that I am sharing with everyone on the internet, but the results are private. When someone submits the form, they are brought to the database, and it says they do not have permission to view. How do I make it so that when they click submit, it brings them to a thank you for your submission page, or even just brings them back to the form to submit again?

  • The low tech way is to make a Form that just says Thank you for your order ..... and then set up the Forms usage tab so that the Everyone on the Internet role uses that form to View.  Then allow them to View all records.

ie one form to ADD and for Edit / View use the "Thank you" form with no actual fields.

I have implemented your suggestion here and it works for me, but it also redirects to the same page when you hit the cancel button. Is there a way to make sure the cancel button doesnt take you to the thank you page?

What page do you want the Cancel button to take you to? It isn't clear to me what page you would go to as I don't even know how the anonymous user navigated to the add record page in the first place.

We give them a link from our website. Maybe we could open a fresh form if they cancel. Or send them back to the website .
