HTML Coding on Dashboards

I've been looking for ways to improve the look and feel of some of our dashboards. I was wondering is it possible to place an html coding layer on dashboards. If so, how?

If no, how are some ways folks are enhancing the look and feel of their dashboards?

  • You can add a rich text widget element to a dashboard which supports some HTML. You can also write your own HTML code into a DB page and place that in a dashboard as a web widget. If you are a more experienced coder, you could also make your own dashboard from scratch via code in a DB page, and make that the default home page for your user roles. I've also seen techniques where a QB form with rich text fields containing html are framed into dashboards via web widgets (protip: add the param "&ifv=1" to your forms URL for cleaner embedding).

    hope that helps!
